Born and raised among Northern California's expansive and abundant farmlands, Erinn Valencich is used to broad horizons and infinite possibilities.
"I grew up on a ranch outside Sacramento, " she explains. "My grandfather was a fine cabinet maker; I grew up making Barbie furniture out of his scrap wood! My father had studied architecture with Frank Lloyd Wright. We were a very creative family."
That early exposure to design launched Erinn on a professional journey that has made her one of the most sought after and versatile designers working today, and allowed her to build a business with no limits in sight.
Erinn is known for redefining casual elegance with a modern touch. Her taste and passion for fine living, as well as her ebullient personality led to her being chosen among the talents of the most accomplished designers in the country, to go head to head in a high-stakes competition of creativity and style on NBC’s American Dream Builders, hosted by Nate Berkus. She has appeared on many TV shows including hosting numerous one-hour specials for HGTV, with appearances on The View, E!, Extra, Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight, among others.
She has designed for numerous celebrities and clients around the country through her Los Angeles based firm, Erinn V Design Group. EVDG works on many projects from remodeling residences, to designing a 650-room hotel in Las Vegas, The Downtown Grand. Among her many passions, Erinn was chosen to decorate the State Department under Hillary Clinton for Diplomacy at Home for the Holidays and has a real-estate development company building luxury homes in Los Angeles. www.SloaneStreetDevelopment.com.
Every project is different, which is what Erinn loves most about her job. She typically designs and builds most of what she puts into client’s homes at her factories in Los Angeles. Having the understanding of how things are made, and the importance of detail, she creates custom furniture for her clients that really fit their own style and personality, while at the same time offering a value and quicker lead-time than the competition.
The demand for her furniture designs prompted her to offer the collection to a broader audience. She launched her first furniture line and store, Erinn V. Maison, on Robertson Blvd in Los Angeles in 2011. www.ErinnVMaison.com. This high-end designer collection is available at fine to-the trade showrooms in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta and Minneapolis. To fill the demand for her designs across the country, she launched the more value-focused Erinn V. Home in 2014 with an e-commerce platform allowing the Erinn V. brand to be available to anyone, direct. The Erinn V. Home line is made locally and hand-finished in the same Los Angeles factories as the Erinn V. Maison collection, with a focus on top-quality craftsmanship and materials. Her brand is built on her mantra that great style doesn’t have to cost a fortune.
Erinn’s work has been featured in Elle Décor, Architectural Digest, Town & Country, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Robb Report, USA Today, Los Angeles Times and many more. She lives in Beverly Hills in a 1920’s Spanish home that she adores.
